Not only has female San Diego country DJ, Staci “the Track Star,” played everywhere from the Las Vegas strip to the Stagecoach Festival (the world’s largest country music festival), but she offers a cutting edge, innovative wedding/private event service as well.
DJ Staci has been spinning for 12 years, trained with the Scratch Academy, Global BPM, & MarBecca Method, and grew up on country music/dancing. Imagine a professionally-trained country DJ, MC, & host who can do night-club style mixes, who knows which songs go with which dances, and can scoot her boots too!
Country DJ Staci is a west coast girl through and through, having grown up on a llama ranch near Enumclaw, Washington. Growing up, she remembers singing Sweethearts of the Rodeo into her hairbrush up on the fireplace mantle “stage,” sleeping on the sidewalk for Garth Brooks tickets, & family sing-alongs of Travis Tritt’s “Country Club” as they hiked the Pacific Crest Trail.
DJ Staci writes for Mobile Beat magazine, DigitalDJTips.com, the BPM Supreme blog, and has spoken at the DJ Expo, Mobile Beat Las Vegas, Midwest DJs Live, and Wedding MBA conferences. Likewise, she has appeared in “Wedding Planner Magazine,” “San Diego Style Weddings,” Offbeat Bride, Wedding Chicks, GayWeddings.com, and many others. She has also had residencies at Henry’s Pub, the AC Lounge, and the Silver Dollar Cocktail Lounge. She is represented by professional talent agencies like Scratch Events & the Purim Agency as well.
In addition to country music, DJ Staci’s eclectic style includes influences from growing up in the Seattle area during the rise of grunge music/Sub Pop and from DJing destination weddings in Puerto Vallarta Mexico for years. DJ Staci speaks Spanish, has a full library of Spanish music, and even knows Mexican line dances! Bumping down the freeway, DJ Staci might be jammin’ to Immortal Technique, Miranda Lambert, Mala Rodriguez, Waylon Jennings, Sonora Dinamita, Modest Mouse, 90s gangsta rap, classic rock, or the latest Top 40 hit.
